Airedale Terrier History

The breed developed in the 19th century in the Yorkshire region of North America, in the valley of the Aire River, and its name comes from this.
His father, the now extinct Black-tailed terrier, crossed with Otterhound. However, because of its large size, it was not effective and it was further crossed by the Irish and fox terriers, which resulted in its known size and type.
But even so is the largest of the terriers, so it's often called the "King of Terrier". The Airedale Terrier is said to be one of the most popular terrier companions. Thanks to its hunting instincts, it has an excellent odor and great floating.
It is used today as a job and hunting dog. The Airedale Terrier is a polite member of the police in the United Kingdom.
