I think of a lot of these characteristics for the Coton de Tulear are wrong. They are known for being extremely intelligent, hypoallergnic, and don't shed until they are old. My dog didn't start shedding until he was 11, and it's barely anything.

My Cotie will be 12 in August. Also, he never drools not even when he sees food. There is a reason why this breed costs significantly more than the other two. My dog has no problems being by himself.
