I've owned several Vizslas and have also been around Ridgebacks. This is a an excellent summary of the two breeds.

Vizsla's are a little crazy at first but they will not let you down, they are great dogs and he can recognize a seizure and comfort my brother, they are very playful and love meeting new people and dogs
