Most ratings are accurate. I am a first time dog owner and my Scotch Collie has been a breeze to own and train. Not a stubborn or difficult dog at all.

A Rough Collie is NOT a Scotch Collie, the name difference is important as Scotch Collies have more variables in their genetics and are bred more specific to cater to the working heritage of the breed.

It is false that Collies are not barkers. They are known to be very vocal dogs, most herders are.
